Alexei Yekaikin, a scientist working in Russia’s Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute will speak about Lake Vostok, the largest in Antarctica, and about how information can be drawn from this body of water, which has been covered with ice for millions of years.
Alexey Ekaykin is a polar researcher of the younger generation, studying lakes and lake biota.
