Subject Fields: History of Maritime Exploration, Geography and Science
The upcoming international conference explores European maritime exploration in the Pacific during the 18th and 19th centuries. Inspired by the legacy of Adam Johann von Krusenstern and other Baltic German explorers, the event will highlight new research on navigation, cartography, scientific exchange, and the geopolitical context of exploration.
Conference program will be available soon.
