His talk draws on Geological Society Memoir 57<\/em>, a major regional synthesis that brings together the latest geological and geophysical data to shed new light on the tectonic evolution, sedimentary basins and geological development of the Arctic.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSergey Drachev’s (PhD) research has focused on Arctic geology. He has extensive field experience, including fifteen expeditions to diverse Arctic regions and participation in research cruises aboard the RV POLARSTERN in 1998 and 2001. His principal scientific interest is the geology of the Siberian Arctic.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSergey has authored more than 100 scientific publications and is an active member of the Geological Society. He served as a Corresponding Editor for Geological Society Memoir 57, contributing to a comprehensive regional synthesis of Arctic sedimentary successions.
