For visitors

The opening hours of the Suur Tõll icebreaker are the same as those of the Seaplane hangars.

  • May–Sept: Mon–Sun 10.00 to 19.00
  • Oct–April: Tue–Sun 10.00 to 18.00

Ticket sales end 30 minutes before the museum closes.

On national holidays we are open from 10.00 to 17.00.

Visitors can take photos and film on board the Suur Tõll.


An exhibition on the oceans and the Baltic Sea was opened at the Seaplane Harbor

On October 17, the exhibitions “Unseen Oceans” from the American Museum of Natural History and “The Baltic Sea in the World Ocean” from the Estonian Maritime Museum were opened at the Seaplane Harbor, Tallinn.

Museum is closed

Due to the state of emergency in the country the museum is closed until May, 1 2020, if not reconsidered sooner. All events during this time period are postponed or cancelled.
