Andres Sööt and Enn Kaup (Estonia)

We will study why the Antarctic continues to fascinate people and discuss various popular works, like Juhan Smuul’s Antarctica Ahoy!

Enn Kaup has worked as a scientist in the Antarctic and written pop-science books on the subject: he can be considered to be an ‘importer’ of this topic into Estonia. Andres Sööt is a film director who has documented the Antarctic: his works can be seen in the Estonian section of the exhibition, The Icy Science Lab.

This Maritime Forum will be in Estonian.

The Maritime Forums are free for everyone. The forum will begin at 18.00 and we shall meet shortly before it near the Desk at the Seaplane Harbour.
