The aim of the project is to develop sustainable participatory business models for museums and cultural heritage institutions, reinvigorate the sector, and obtain necessary tools for its further development both on-site and digitally (see <a href=\"https:\/\/meremuuseum.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/recharge_press_release-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">introductory press release<\/a>). The Estonian Maritime Museum is one of three partner organisations which is testing a business model based on community involvement in the format of a Living Lab within the framework of the project.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project was launched on 1 October 2022 and lasts for 36 months. The consortium, led by Erasmus University, consists of 10 partners from 6 European countries: Centrum Cyfrowe (PL), Universidad de Valladolid and Goteo (ES), Netherlands Institute for Sound &amp; Vision and Erasmus University (NL), European Fashion Heritage Association and Museo Del Tessuto di Prato (IT), Creativity Lab and the Estonian Maritime Museum (EE). and The Hunt Museum (IE). The project takes place within the framework of the programme <a href=\"https:\/\/research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu\/funding\/funding-opportunities\/funding-programmes-and-open-calls\/horizon-europe_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HORIZON EUROPE<\/a> (the EU\u2019s research and innovation funding programme for 2021\u20132027).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For questions related to participating in the project of the Estonian Maritime Museum, please contact us by writing to <a href=\"mailto:info@meremuuseum.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">info@meremuuseum.ee<\/a>.
