Traditional yearly events:
The Night of Museums opens on a Saturday evening in May. The Maritime Museum, like other museums, will be open for longer and free of charge.
On 1 June we celebrate International Children’s Day with a rich programme. There will be many activities available in the outdoor area of the Seaplane Harbour, and children will also get free admission to the museum ships.
The second Sunday of November is Father’s Day. Your visit to the museum will be spiced up with exciting extra activities and programmes. Traditional Father’s Day pancakes will be served in the café.
The summer will be ended by the Night of Ancient Bonfires. A big bonfire will be lit in the outdoor area of the Seaplane Harbour, and there will be a number of performers.
Check the calendar for further information on upcoming family events.
An aquarium at the Seaplane Harbour now hosts the underwater photography exhibition ‘The Underwater World of Shipwrecks’ by Aire Eder. The aquarium exhibits 26 underwater photos of shipwrecks in Estonia, Norway, Cyprus, Croatia, and Egypt.
