Join us for an insightful lecture exploring the gripping history of Estonian seafarers serving on Norwegian merchant ships during World War II and their post-1945 fates.
Our guest speaker, Hege Boman Grundekjøn, is a distinguished Norwegian author, war historian, and lawyer renowned for her dedicated research into the historical ties between Norway and the Baltic states. Through her extensive work documenting these shared wartime experiences, Grundekjøn brings to light the courage, hardship, and long-term legacies of the seafarers who navigated one of the most perilous chapters in modern maritime history.
