A Closer Look at the Vikings – Curators Edition

We shall talk about how Vikings: Life Beyond the Legend was born: what choices and decisions were made, how the exhibition was created, what remained unexhibited and what kind of new knowledge we have gained about the Viking Era in connection with the exhibition.

Gunnar Andersson is the Senior Curator of We Call Them Vikings (Vikings: Life Beyond the Legend) from the Swedish History Museum.

This Maritime Forum will be held in English.

The Maritime Forums are free for everyone. The forum will begin at 18.00. We shall meet near the Desk at the Seaplane Harbour.

Launch of an expedition to Antarctica

Six museums in Tallinn established a joint Museum Gate in the cruise terminal to encourage foreign visitors to get to know Estonian culture.

The Seaplane Harbour now displays an underwater photo exhibition on underwater archaeology

An aquarium at the Seaplane Harbour now hosts the underwater photography exhibition ‘The Underwater World of Shipwrecks’ by Aire Eder. The aquarium exhibits 26 underwater photos of shipwrecks in Estonia, Norway, Cyprus, Croatia, and Egypt.
